Swimming to the edge of the pool out of breath but with a smile on my face is how I feel right now. In September of 2020, I published my first book. Writing was a quiet excitement because I told very few people what I was doing. Sending CROW out for anyone to read was like jumping of the high dive— thrilling but mostly worried about the finish.
Writing was never in my wheelhouse of possible career choices. I always knew I wanted to work in hotels and found my groove as a meeting and convention planner. After moving across the country and having my son, I stepped away from hotel work. I jumped into marathon running, and when my body screamed for a break, I decided to give writing a try.
CROW opened a new world for me. I fell in love with writing and the characters in River Bend and decided to keep going. This fall, keep an eye out for HAWK.
